Klima, Peter 85
A Stanley Cup Champion with The Edmonton Oilers in 1990, he was drafted by Detroit in 1983 and in 1985,defected to the United States from Czechoslovakia to play for the Red Wings. His professional career from 1981-2001 placed him on 6 NHL squads.

He scored the Game Winning Goal in The 1998 National Championship game for The University of Michigan after being drafted by The Ottawa Senators. From 2001-2011, he played for 5 NHL squads, Including The Detroit Red Wings.
Finstrom, Jon 24
Jon spent nine outstanding years in the minors, including four with the Florida Panther organization. He also played with the Detroit Vipers and Port Huron Border Cats.
Peake, Pat 14
Pat was drafted in the first round (14th overall) by The Washington Capitals, where he played five seasons. He Was The Canadian Major Junior Player of the Year in 1993.

Currently the Vice President of The Red Wing Alumni. Wayne was Drafted by Chicago in 1983 and played 13 seasons in the NHL with the Blackhawks, Sabres, Rangers and Maple Leafs.
Ribble, Pat 3
Pat played in over 440 professional NHL games for five NHL teams. He also won a Bronze Medal with Team Canada in Prague in 1978.
Samsonov, Sergei 14
He is a Native of Russia and a former IHL and NHL Rookie of the year. Drafted in the first round by the Boston Bruins and played for 6 different NHL organizations. He is a former member of the Turner Cup winning Detroit Vipers and a Bronze Medalist in Olympic competition.
Tamer, Chris 4
A University of Michigan Alum, Chris was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1990 where he played 6 seasons. His NHL career included the New York Rangers and Atlanta Thrashers.
Wolanin, Craig 6
A Stanley Cup Champion with Colorado and New Jersey’s first choice in the 1985 Entry Draft, Craig played five seasons with the Devil’s. His NHL career spanned 13 seasons.
Bowman, George 35
Currently the Secretary of The Red Wing Alumni, George is grandson of the original Scotty Bowman (1930s-1940s Red Wings). In addition to Alumni duties, he has occasionally served as Detroit Red Wings practice goalie and is a PGA Professional.
Mio, Ed 41
A 2 time All American while at Colorado College, Eddie started his pro career in the World Hockey Association. His NHL career began in Edmonton with the Oilers. Traded to Detroit in 1983 from The New York Rangers, he ended his pro career in 1986.
Carson, Jimmy 12
A Southfield, Michigan whom was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 1986. In 1989 he was traded to Detroit bringing with him the NHL record for most goals by a teenager. Over the course of his career, Including the Red Wings, he played for 5 NHL teams.
Fedyk, Brent 15
He was selected by Detroit in the first round of the 1985 draft. From 1985-2000, in addition to the Red Wings, his career took him to The Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers.
